REC Committee - Brexit

April 20, 2017

This week's Rural Economy and Connectivity Committee discussed the effects of Brexit on the rural economy with Cabinet Secretary for the Rural Economy and Connectivity, Fergus Ewing and Michael Russell, Minister for UK Negotiations on Scotland's place in Europe. I asked about land use and whether a countryside policy could replace the Common Agricultural Policy as suggested by Stuart Goodall of Confor at a previous meeting.
